Dremel Pet Nail Grinder
A redesign of the current Dremel tool, this pet nail grinder is focused on reducing stress for vets and pets.
The Problem
The current tool offered by Dremel is the exact same as for none pet use, minus the paw print graphic.
The form is very rugged and aggressive, which is a great look for their other areas such as woodworking. Pets should be treated differently.
Prototyping
Through several foam model mocks we were able to come up with the most ergonomic form factor.
A big insight from this process was how the tool should be hold with a pencil like grip for finer work.
